"Whist is very helpful to me when I experience tinnitus. Prior to Whist, I would have to find noisy places to work in so that the ringing in my ear wouldn’t bother or distract me. Now, I can stay in the comfort of my room and let Whist generate sounds that relieve my tinnitus. Whist’s sounds are completely customizable – I get to create ones that both mask my tinnitus and bother me less than the ringing in my ear. I would highly recommend Whist to anyone bothered by their tinnitus and looking for relief.” Laura D., Age 20, Tinnitus Sufferer

Pros and cons of Whist – Tinnitus Relief app for iPhone and iPad
Whist – Tinnitus Relief app good for
I use this app whenever I have trouble sleeping due to my tinnitus. I feel if they added my suggestions to the app it would also help me at other times as well. But Ill take what I can get, and this is the best Ive found.
Lets you fine tune and match your tinnitus sound (pitch and intensity) on the free app. Worked for me, so I paid the $1.99 to save my settings in the full app. No-brainier.
Some bad moments
It doesnt cure tinnitus but when the ringing in my ears get loud, this app gives me temporary relief. Best thing Ive found for my tinnitus
Im at a point where I would try anything, and this is the worst $2 spent. There is no explanation, you can get free apps for the same function
I thought this app was to help control and rid my ringing in the ears. All it did was mimic the sound. Not sure why the Doc recommended to try it.
This tool is useful to document my tinnitus using measurable statistics. I have Menieres syndrome and my tinnitus comes and goes. By documenting (and saving) the details with this app, I can communicate with my doctor easier and show him how my symptoms change over time. Also, I can save the setting and give the headphones to my wife so she can experience what I am going through. I have only one request for improvement. The slider bars are very sensitive and it is hard to make small adjustments. I would like to see a button next to each slider that moves one increment. That would make it much easier.
First use, about 1700 seconds, felt good to drown out tinnitus with matching tone, relief for 10 minutes after was great, if only for ten minutes, will keep using to see if improvement continues
